The Learning Centre is a combination of offices and learning settings located on the South Wales Police's Bridgend HQ site. South Wales Police currently deliver their courses and enrolment examinations in a range of settings across South Wales, many of which are rented. The new 6,500m2 facility seeks to centralise courses, raise standards and increase the number of recruits being trained. The centre also locates 170 no. staff in open plan and cellular workplace settings, which in turn are supported by meeting and conference facilities. The 4 storey building is set around a central atrium which is pivotal to the low energy philosophy.
